Print, Make, Walk

Shoes that are made at the shoe store, or at home… Back in time, or the future? Perhaps both, you can 3D print your own shoes with your own desktop 3D printer. Joining forces with 3D Systems, United Nude enjoy pushing the boundaries of forward thinking, and combining technology and fashion. An interactive touch screen console was utilized for the 3D printing of the shoes, which were connected to four of 3D Systems’ Cube 3D printers, 3D printers designed for consumers at home and in-store 3D printing. A wonderful example of a digital commercialized functional product!

In future posts we will feature additional 3D printed shoes/shoe parts, there are quite a few. What are your favorites?
