Droog Centrepiece - 3D Printed Tabletop Accessories - Tessa's Weekly Picks

I don’t know what the function of the table is at your home, but for some unknown reason, to me, this horizontal surface keeps on ending up as a storage shelf for everything I collect during weeks and months. If I would manage to keep my table clean, I would love to see these pieces on the table rather than piles of papers and other stuff.

This 3D printed aristocratic chic table piece is the real deal, right? It is a contemporary copy of the Merkelsche Centrepiece from 1549 in the Rijksmuseum. It is available on the Droog webshop, in a limited edition of only 9 unique center table pieces (also up top). Clean the table and make room, I would say!

A little less extraordinary but equally charming is the ‘Old pot, new top‘ concept of Julia Landsiedl. Each industrially manufactured porcelain cup gets a new individually 3D printed top, giving it a new meaning.

On the table should also be one object from OTHR; this time I would go for ‘minimum’, the candleholder set, designed by Sebastian Bergne. The candleholders are made in matte black 3D printed steel.

Two other tabletop accessories are both from Droog, which will impress your guests during dinner. I love the 3D printed pleated collar napkin rings and the Chinese fish restaurant, in both designs gives a twist to ordinary objects.
