Tessa’s Weekly Picks – Happy 3D Printed Easter!

Tessa Blokland

Long brunches with friends, all kinds of bread, and of course eggs, eggs, eggs and more eggs. Here are some examples of how to set your brunch table with some funny happy easter egg holders.

Eggcups are designed by Marta Cherednik of MALINKO and produced using SLS 3D printing. The geometric shapes create a minimalistic nest for the eggs.

On My Mini Factory, you can 3D print a replica of the famous Panton chair – as an egg holder. The stylish egg holder, designed by Michele Badia, can be 3D printed in various colors for a colorful easter celebration.

Also on My Mini Factory is a 3D printed egg holder in a spring shape, using the flexibility of the material.

This Eater bunny decoration, designed by Stef de Vos applies geometry in order to construct a 3D printed bunny including a space accurately designed for an egg.

The last 3D printed egg holder also uses the elasticity of the 3D printing material, polyamide. Gijs de Zwart of Studio Gijs designed the branch-like shape which flexes to fit different egg sizes.

The birdhouse up top is designed by Matthijs Kok for Cubify. The birdhouse, inspired by the nests of weaver birds, can be easily hung on a branch or filled with Easter eggs as in the picture above.
